Thanks @Cindy – I found if I paused it and restarted it would be ok for a bit. I think it was her Twihard talk that did it. I’ll wait for YouTube version but they haven’t updated their YouTube account for 2 months – so maybe in March / April lol.

OMFG! Is he just the most handsome, gracious, down to earth and beautiful person you have ever seen? He was absolutely ROCKIN’! I loved the navy blue suit. Normally when guys go for a different look at the GG or Oscars its extreme but the subtle difference of Robs suit made him a standout for all the right reasons.
I’d say he definatelty turned around some peoples opinions of him. Female and male. One of my favourite parts of the night was announcing him from Water for Elephants. Sounds silly, but that moment just made me sooooo proud!

He sure is Sare – absolutely. I have seriously ran out of words to describe how much I adore Rob & how amazing he is – there just aren’t any words in existence to describe how special he is – the most beautiful person in the world.
Doesn’t sound silly at all Sare what you said about Rob being introduced from W4E. I LOVED that so much. FINALLY people are getting that Rob is NOT all about Twilight, that he is SO much more. About damn time too.

Not just you Maria, I’ve noticed that too – the nose rub when he is asked about Twilight. Oh dear I was embarrassed for the interviewer when she admitted she was a TwiHard & shook my head when she acted like she never even heard Rob mention W4E. THAT is what we want to hear about & what Rob wants to talk about. Feeding her own obsessions – hit the nail on the head there Maria. Rob, as always you handled everything beautifully. @Sare most of us were thankful they actually announced him from WFE. It’s about time and I’ve said it in posts and comments, Rob seemed a little irritated that interviewers still wanted to focus on Twilight questions when there is so much more happening in his career now. Let’s face it – his costars in his post Twilight film releases are either Oscar winners or Oscar nominees. It’s a shame they didn’t focus on that, but well yeah … that’s Hollywood.

I’ll haveto go with what you ladies have said. i just didn’t have the patience to sit through the vid. I will say I have noticed Rob’s reaction when people ask about Twilight. I’m sure like many of us, he is just waiting for it to be over so people will see beyond it to all the other wonderful things he is doing, only my opinion though.

I am not sure what you guys mean by saying that they announced him from WFE…I must have missed something.
It cannot be said enough, Rob is a class act and handles himself beautifully always, 100% of the time. And being as intelligent as he is he can steer the conversation to where he wants to and not where the silly interviewers want to take it. Brains and Beauty – it is a lethal combination…

@ephie when they were announcing what was up next before going to a commercial break during the telecast they said and Water For Elephants’ Robert Pattinson – no reference to that saga thankfully.

@a kay – Rob pissed off? I guess it was nerves and probably concerned about not stepping on Olivia’s dress, but he didn’t look pissed off to me.

What do you mean turn off the sound – then you can’t hear Rob? I think people need to really start “listening” to him and not just oggling.
