Who can ever forget the Eclipse Press Junket interview where Rob described Georges as a ‘Manwhore’ *faints* Now this interview below is that exact one, plus as an added bonus -a little bit of extra interview footage that we have not seen. We’ve also seen Rob’s adorable answer about wanting to be a rapper but seriously – as if we mind seeing any of it again. He is just seriously too too adorable for words. Bel-Ami on the big screen – are we there yet?????? Thanks so much to our elite affie pattinsonlife for the tip & Video Ezy for the vid.

Oh, thanks for sharing this video. I like very much to listen his clever answers and his lough. You have to lough in the same time, like the emcee, too.

Bel Ami is the most unlikable character ever! when i first read the book i was like 17 and i was appalled! I wonder how he can play that character and still be likable…

@aph kay aph kay – I’m wondering how come you always come on here with sensationalist comments about Rob. You do it to get a reaction .. right? Georges isn’t supposed to be likeable … and I doubt Rob chose that role so we could like him – otherwise he would just keep playing Edward forever. Do you not listen to Rob at ALL in his interviews? The fact is – if we hate him – then Rob has done his job perfectly.

@aph kay it’s called learniing to separate real life from fiction

bwahahaha “what is compton? Your from london” LOVE that interview.

I am sorry but this person cannot call herself a true fan of Robs with insulting comments like that.

  • Carmel

Rob doesn’t even like Georges. But he chose to play him at the hight of Edward histeria. I’m sure he could have taken a safer career path and played to heart throb label for all it was worth. Instead he chose a role that would challege him. He is an artist with many stories and many characters to unveil on us. It isn’t important that we like the character, we need to believe Rob in the role. That is acting.

Agree with all your comments girls. Clearly some don’t appreciate the wonderful & quality roles/films Rob supplies us with & fail to understand what is oh so obvious to us all here. Shame – you are missing out on so much – so so very much.

  • Maria

LOL everyone @aph_kay just does it to rile us – I mean – first he was ugly, then he might be intelligent and now how are we suppose to like him as Georges … oh @aph_kay are you attempting a career at comedy? I know everyone is entitled to his/her opinion and I agree Georges is not a likeable character, but c’mon it’s Rob – how could we not love him even as a bastard. I know for me it won’t be hard 😀 In fact sometimes, just sometimes I wish Edward would just slap Bella – I know I want to.

  • Carmel
    Posted on November 17, 2010

LOL Maria- I’d pay to see that!
Re Georges: Rob has been known in certain circles as The Beautiful Bastard.

@Carmel – I’d give you your money back – I’d do it for nothing LOL especially in BD – it was the only book I kept having to put down because she just irritated the crap out of me.

He’s too adorable…the blah, blah, blah, the knuckle crack… huey lewis and billy ocean? I’ve already smiled through the interview 3 times so far….too cute.

Manwhore, manwhore, manwhore!! Bring it on. I think we’ll all be taken with Georges just as all the women were in the book. If only Rob would rent a little apartment for us. We could come up with a roster, right?

  • Maria
    Posted on November 17, 2010

LMAO @Carlisa – yes yes roster system – I bags being in charge – that would be me Monday to Saturday and yeah you guys can fight over Sunday – after all it is a day of rest 😀

I am still imagining Ed slapping Bella. I love the idea. But when? There are so many possibilities. This has made my night.

LOL Maria, now that is an interesting thought!!!! I, like most of the other girls, can’t wait to see Rob play Georges unlikable or not.

aph kay do you really consider yourself a Rob fan, I think not!!!
