There has been some rumours floating around that Bel-Ami may have limited release in some countries in November 2010.  Well don’t get too excited because I’m about to tell you that it’s not happening in Australia.  I had confirmation from Hopscotch Films today that they haven’t heard about this and in any case, they are the Australian distributors and they have no plans to release this film in 2010 - even in limited form.  Sorry, I know it’s not what you want to hear, but at least you know not to get your hopes up.  Please don’t bombard Hopscotch with pleas, petitions or whatever it is that you might think will work.  This film  is slated to be released in 2011 - end of story - you just have to all be patient.  It’s not like Georges isn’t going to be worth the wait.  Of course, as soon as we receive confirmation of the 2011 release date, we will be letting you know.  And now because I’ve disappointed you so much (and I’m not totally going to take on the personsa of Georges) - here some gorgeous pics of Rob to make you happy …
