Kyle & Jackie O from Sydney’s 2day FM spoke to Kellan Lutz this morning.  Kellan talks about what he’s been doing whilst in Australia, filming of New Moon and towards the end about Rob (sorry it’s quite long, but worth the wait – even I may have rethink my opinion of Klutz given what he says).   Again, for some reason it’s telling me the files to big and so I can’t upload, but you can listen to the interview here.

As official as it can get in Hollywood and Rob – we can hardly contain our excitment either.  “Memoirs” is listed on Rob’s IMDb as “pre production” and confirms him in the cast list (actually he’s the only cast at the moment, but are we complaining).     Allen Coulter is the director and Will Fetters and Jenny Lumet ar the writers for the screenplay.   As for the plot  – it’s a drama centered on two lovers whose newfound relationship is threatened as they try to cope with their respective family tragedies.  So is this the black comedy Rob was talking about in the ET interview - I hope so.   The only down side to this news is that the release date is apparently 2011.  Thanks to our affiliate Spunk Ransom for the tip off.

Thanks to Pattinson Anonymous, we have more news about Rob’s role in ‘Memoirs’. A reliable source who has already read the script was kind enough to answer some fan questions on the Pattinson Anonymous site.

Maria has already mentioned on a previous post that Rob is going to be involved in this project in between shooting ‘New Moon’ and ‘Eclipse’. He plays Tyler Roth, the lead character who is a college student in his early 20s.

Here are some of the questions:

Q: This character sounds a bit like a cross between Art in How To Be and maybe that character he was supposed to play in Parts Per Billion. Is he?

A: Well, I’ve never seen a script for Parts Per Billion, so I can’t comment on that, but I’d say Tyler is definitely a departure from Art. The character Art is someone insecure and on a quest to “be normal” in a lot of ways. Tyler is far more confident and who is basically a normal college student. He’s just dealing with some heavy stuff.

Q: What are Tyler’s mother and step dad like?

A: Tyler’s mom is a pretty typical divorced parent. She gets overwhelmed with her ex sometimes, and there’s certainly tension there, but she gets along well with her children. Les, Tyler’s step dad, is almost the polar opposite of Tyler’s dad. He’s a professor, a bit of a hippie, and a free spirit.

Good morning everyone! Seems like it’s a slow news morning today….so I decided to post a video I made this weekend. It is another one of those many many ‘Twilight’ fan videos out there. As you know, everyone has their own style – and this one is mine. The song I used is called ‘Dragster Wave‘ by a Belgian band called Ghinzu. Actually, the song inspired me to do the video – so I hope  you like it!

I first read Total Film’s interview “On A Date with Rob Pattinson” yesterday thanks to our affiliate Robsessed and I too wasn’t convinced that it was genuine.  However, it apparently is and once you get past the bizarre interviewing style, there are some interesting responses from Rob.  I can’t help but think that there are extracts missing from this interview, since it feels slightly disjointed to me.   Clearly the Rioja turned up!  You can read the full article here.

This video from ET would have to be the best segment they have shown from their ‘New Moon’ set coverage & is over 19 minutes in length. The video includes some of the footage that has already been shown in the previous segments & we also get to hear from Taylor & Kristen. Rob is at the start of the video & then Rob’s interview starts around the 11 minute 20 second mark. Rob talks about being back on the ‘New Moon’ set, getting beaten up by Dakota Fanning (as Jane of course lol ), says the movie is as close as possible to the book as you can get & teases us with comments that he is composing a soundtrack for a movie & that he has also got another movie project in the wings. Can’t wait to hopefully hear more about these projects soon.

Network Releasing who are the UK DVD distributor for ‘How To Be’, have released this High Definition trailer (the quality is so nice & clear) for the film’s DVD release on May 18. I know we have seen a trailer similar to this before but seeing how excited I am about the DVD being released (as I am sure you all are too) & how much I love Art, I just had to share this with everyone.
